Animation Audition Tune Up!

Wednesdays April 21st and 28th, 6:30pm

What we’ll cover:

-       Refreshing the basic structure/ requirements/ considerations of an animation audition.

-       Taking your existing signature characters and finding ways to make them pop! (Did you know CD’s may hear over 500+ auditions for a single character, and 90% are the same interpretation of the sides? How are you going to stand out?)

-       Expanding your range. You have more characters inside you than you think, it’s just a matter of accessing them. (When you do become a utility player casting wants to hire because you save production money!)

-       Finding. The. FUNNY… even if the sides don’t seem it. (Make the writers/ producers look good and they will hire you over and over!)

-       Unconventional ways to up your VO game. And how to shift your auditioning mindset to that of a series regular.

-       Super personalized coaching- what you need to work on is what we will work on. This class is about YOU and getting YOU booking.

Logistics:

-       2 week class over zoom. 3+ hrs per class. 10 students max. $275.

-       Ideal for students who have an agent and/or are auditioning for animation.

-       Bring in 2 pieces of audition copy, one in your wheelhouse, one stretch. (We can assign copy if necessary but best to bring what you are given by your agents so you can replicate real world auditioning situation.)
